Catch up

Little man and I are back at my folks. Trying to make time go by quicker... J is growing up so fast! He started walking on Feb 1st. It was a total shock to me. I was in the kitchen cleaning up from breakfast, I turned around and saw Jacob walking! I didn't even think, and just grabbed him because I didn't realize what he was doing and thought he was about to fall. Then I quickly grabbed the camera and documented his second first steps :) The video is on youtube. Now that he has been walking for a few weeks, he is getting pretty good. Starting to go faster and faster. The real fun will start when he starts running!

Jacob is also now eating 100% table food. No more baby food...and no more bottles! It took a little while, but we finally got him to take a sippy cup. Thankfully he wasn't too attached to the bottle. The next thing to go is the paci. I'm going to start doing that in the next few months. He is FINALLY sleeping through the night! It took us about 11 months...11 long months! But we are there and it's great to finally have sleep!

Jacob is a very happy little man. He loves to play, especially with the dogs. He will grab their toys and shake them around and finally put the toy in the dogs faces so they will grab it. He thinks this is pretty funny. He also loves his trucks and cars. Typical little guy. His new favorite thing is to climb all over anyone laying on the floor with him. He will lay all over you and giggle. He's a very cute and sweet little boy.
